About Us

“If the child is not learning the way you are teaching, then you must teach in the way the child learns”
~ Rita Dunn

Our aim is to discover how your child learns, processes and applies information. This will enable effective planning and implementation of appropriate learning opportunities to enhance and support your child’s individual learning needs.

A comprehensive assessment will highlight your child’s strengths and identify their learning challenges, as well as any behaviours that are causing concern. We will provide practical strategies applicable for all areas of your child’s life.

We are dedicated to empowering children to understand and embrace their personal strengths whilst building upon learning areas requiring specific support and intervention. Assisting your child to have a better understanding of their own strengths and challenges, will contribute to building a healthy self-esteem and encourage a love of learning.

We use evidence-based instruments which include cognitive, academic and selected neuropsychological factors in a psychological and educational assessment. This may include diagnosis of a Specific Learning Disability (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia) and ADHD where relevant.

The assessment will assist you to understand your child’s learning needs and the appropriate support and environment required in order to thrive. We are passionate about assisting children to access and engage in purposeful learning experiences. The report will inform teachers in your child’s life, ensuring that learning methods are tailored to suit your child’s strengths to support their future learning success.

We promote a respectful and collaborative relationship with children, families, educators and allied professionals to help children engage and learn.
